APPLYING FOR A BOARD OR COMMISSION

If you are interested
in serving on a Board or Commission, download application or
request one from the Town clerk’s office. Most appointments
are for a two year terms. Most Board or Commission
appointments receive no compensation for their services.
Once an application is received, the Town will place your
name on the resource list for the particular board. When
vacancies occur, the Mayor will review the resource list and
schedule interviews if necessary. Recommendations for
appointment would then be given to the Weaverville Town
Council for approval. Applications will be active and kept
on file for 12 months and can reapply if desired.
