DESCRIPTION:Join us for the second concert of the 2024 season. \nMusic in the Park takes place in the Main Street Nature Park. Music starts at 6pm. Guests are invited to bring a picnic\, chairs\, friends\, family\, blankets\, and your dancing shoes. \nJuly 13th we will be joined by The JackTown Ramblers\, one of Western North Carolina’s most in demand acoustic bands bringing Bluegrass\, Swing\, and Gypsy Jazz along with a lot of laughs to audiences of over 400 shows. They fuse bluegrass vocals\, swinging instrumentals and an upbeat show to bring a truly unique experience and a lot of fun to the stage.

DESCRIPTION:2024-7-22 Town Council Meeting Agenda Packet \nNOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS \nPUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Weaverville Town Council will hold two separate public hearings during its regularly scheduled meeting on Monday\, July 22\, 2024\, beginning at 6:00 p.m.\, or as soon thereafter as Town Council can reach the matter. One public hearing will be on a voluntary annexation petition for property commonly known as the Maple Trace Subdivision which is shown on the following recorded plats: Maple Trace Phase 1 (Book 168\, Page 152)\, Maple Trace Phase 2 (Book 194\, Pages 174-175)\, Maple Trace Phase 3 (Book 185\, Page 30)\, Maple Trace Phase 4 (Book 204\, Pages 166-67)\, and a portion of Water Leaf Drive serving as the connector road to Parker Cove Road (Book 239\, Page 86). The other public hearing will be on a zoning map amendment to designate these properties as R-2 zoning if such property is annexed into the Town. \nThese public hearings will occur as an in-person meeting in Council Chambers/Community Room at Town Hall\, 30 South Main Street\, Weaverville\, NC. \n*WRITTEN PUBLIC COMMENTS can also be submitted in advance of the public hearings and will be distributed to Town Council and may be read into the record of the public hearing.
