This notice of meeting is to inform the public that the Planning Board of the Town of Weaverville will hold a special called meeting on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at 6:00p.m. within Council Chambers and the Community Room at Town Hall, 30 South Main Street, Weaverville, NC. The purpose of this meeting is for the Planning Board to participate in a joint meeting with Town Council to discuss land use regulations and an update of the comprehensive land use plan. Action may be taken.

TOWN OF WEAVERVILLE NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND NOTICE OF REMOTE ELECTRONIC MEETING

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Weaverville Town Council will hold a public hearing during its regularly scheduled monthly meeting on Monday, July 25, 2022, beginning at 6:00 p.m., in Council Chambers and the Community Room of Town Hall, 30 South Main Street, Weaverville, to receive public input on a proposed zoning text amendment related to outdoor lighting regulations.

This public hearing will occur as an in-person meeting, and as an electronic audio/video meeting via Zoom Meeting. Access to the meeting and hearing will begin at 5:45 p.m. and the meeting and hearing will start at 6:00 p.m.

WRITTEN PUBLIC COMMENTS can also be submitted in advance of the public hearing and will be distributed to Town Council and made a part of the record of the public hearing. Written public comments can be submitted as follows: (1) by EMAILING to [email protected]  at least 6 hours prior to the meeting, (2) by putting your written comment in a DROP BOX at Town Hall (located at front entrance and back parking lot) at least 6 hours prior to the meeting, or (3) BY MAILING your written comment (must be received not later than Monday’s mail delivery on September 28) to: Town of Weaverville, PO Box 338, Weaverville, NC, 28787, Attn: Public Comments.
