Friday Aug. 9th UPDATE: Public Works Department crew completed the waterline repair at 6:30 am Friday morning.  Everyone should now have their water service restored with clear water flowing at their tap.  If there are any questions, please call the Department at 828.645.0606.

UPDATE to Waterline break – The water main break is isolated and contained. Public Works Department is flushing out the lines to remove any discolored water. Run the water until it is clear. The water is safe to drink. Due to the line flushing there may be air bubbles in the water making it appear cloudy, allow the water to sit so bubbles can dissipate.
