Update from Town of Weaverville, Tuesday October 1.
WATER
Town residents will see intermittent water coming through the pipes. Boil advisory in effect until further notice. Water must come to a rolling boil for at least one full minute. Please conserve water, this is an emergency water supply.
Water distribution is happening at Windy Ridge. Bring your own water containers.
FOOD AND GAS
Water and pantry items will be available for pickup on Wednesday, October 2 at the Weaverville Community Center, 60 Lakeshore Drive. 10am – 2pm.
Donations of water and pantry items will be collected at the Community Center Wednesday, October 2 between 3pm and 4pm.
Publix continues to be open for groceries.
The Weaver Blvd Ingles and Shell gas pumps were open as of 11am today.

Western North Carolina residents impacted by the Storm can see a UNC Health primary care provider for mild symptoms without an appointment through the UNC Health Virtual Care Now free of charge. Get in line for Virtual Care Now through My UNC Chart. If you do not have a My UNC Chart account, you can get one when you get in line. Virtual services are available 6am – 10pm, 7 days a week.
