Town Hall & Offices Closed Feb. 2nd- Alternate Garbage Routes

Town of Weaverville:

INCLEMENT WEATHER CLOSURE NOTICE AND

ALTERNATE GARBAGE COLLECTION INFORMATION

 

Monday 2/2/26 –

  • Town Hall and the Community Center will be closed.
  • Monday’s garbage route will be picked up on Thursday 2/5/26.
  • Planning Board meeting has been cancelled.
  • Town Council meeting will be held as a remote meeting (see separate Notice).

 

Tuesday 2/3/26 –

  • Town Hall and the Community Center will be opening for staff at 10 am and to the public at 12 pm
  • Tuesday’s garbage route will be picked up on Friday 2/6/26

Due to inclement weather and safety of our sanitation staff, Monday FEB. 2nd ‘s sanitation route will be collected on Thursday FEB. 5th and Tuesday FEB. 3rd ‘s route will be collected on Friday, FEB. 6th.

 

Unless otherwise posted, Curbie recycling will also follow this schedule. We appreciate everyone’s understanding and patience while Public Works crews continue to work to get the roads cleared.
