Weaverville Utility Customers Billing Notice

We are aware of some issues we have had with our most recent water bills that went out on November 28th and are in contact with our system support to see why these issues occurred & how to fix them before the next bills on December 31st. Please be patient and kind with our staff as we just transitioned to our new accounting software the middle of November and are still working out the glitches. Some of the issues we have found are as follows:

  • If you normally receive e-statements through our billing party, SouthData, you have (or will be receiving) a paper bill instead. We are not sure why e-statements did not go out but are working with SouthData to figure out why this issue occurred. Just a reminder, we will be moving away from that platform after the December 31st bills.
  • Please be sure to create an account on our MyGovHub portal (https://weaverville.mygovhub.com/#/) to sign up for e-statements there so you don’t miss a bill. Also, when adding your account on MyGovHub be sure to put in your water account number and the first 3 characters of your service address only so it can find your account properly. For example, 30 South Main Street would be typed in as “30S”. Finally, the issue with e-statements does not affect those who are also signed up for our bank draft program. Your bill will draft as normal on December 11th
  • A few of our customers have received bills for prior property owners for their address. Please disregard those bills if they are not in your name as they should not have been generated and sent out.
