Firefighter Non-Exempt Minimum Pay of $60,249.00/year

Minimum Qualifications: Firefighter/EMT

Graduation from a high school or GED equivalent
Valid Driver’s License (Class B)
North Carolina Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) (or ability to obtain within a specified time frame)
Wildland Firefighter (ability to obtain as classes and staffing permit)
Technical Rescuer (ability to obtain as classes and staffing permit)
North Carolina Firefighter II
NIMS requirements per position

Compensation and Town Benefits:

Salary of $60,249/year upon hire with an increase to $62,790 upon successful completion of probation
