NOTICE OF SPECIAL-CALLED MEETING FOR JUNE 11, 2024, due to CANCELLATION OF JUNE 4, 2024, REGULARLY SCHEDULED WORKSHOP
PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Weaverville Town Council will hold a special-called workshop meeting on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at 6:00 pm. The special-called meeting will be held as an in-person meeting (Council Chambers/Community Room at Town Hall, 30 South Main Street) with remote attendance by the general public allowed via Zoom, unless technical difficulties prevent such remote access. This meeting will replace the regular workshop that was scheduled for June 4, 2024, and was cancelled.
The purpose of the special-called meeting is for Town Council to discuss and deliberate on the FY2024-25 Budget and to consider and take action on a Water Commitment Renewal for the Meribel Project located at 171 Monticello Road. Since a public hearing on the budget was held on May 14, 2024, on the proposed budget, Town Council does not plan to receive public comment at this meeting.
