Firefighter Non-Exempt PayScale range: $46,862.00 $58,578.00 $70,294.00

Minimum Qualifications: FF/EMT
  • Graduation from a high school or GED equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s License (Class B)
  • North Carolina Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) (or ability to obtain within specified time frame)
  • Wildland Firefighter (ability to obtain as classes and staffing permit)
  • Technical Rescuer (ability to obtain as classes and staffing permit)
  • North Carolina FF-II
  • Wildland Firefighter
  • Technical Rescuer
  • NIMS requirements per position
