WEAVERVILLE TOWN COUNCIL NOTICE OF SPECIAL-CALLED MEETING FOR JUNE 15, 2023, AND CANCELLATION OF JUNE 20, 2023, REGULARLY SCHEDULED WORKSHOP MEETING

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Weaverville Town Council will hold a special-called workshop meeting on Thursday, June 15, 2023, at 6:00 pm. The special-called meeting will be held as an in-person meeting (Council Chambers/Community Room at Town Hall, 30 South Main Street) with remote attendance by the general public allowed via Zoom, unless technical difficulties prevent such remote access. This meeting will replace the regularly workshop meeting scheduled for June 20, 2023, which is hereby cancelled.

The purpose of the special-called meeting is for Town Council to discuss and deliberate on the FY2024 Budget. Since a public hearing on the budget was held on May 22, 2023, on the proposed budget, Town Council does not plan to receive public comment at this meeting.
